SEPTEMBER 20, 27, 2011

PAINT SUNFLOWERS
Painting and studying sunflowers during September.

REPURPOSED CHINA PROJECT
Paint on an old piece of china and give it new life. Since the economy influences our budget, it would be fun to paint an older piece of china that has been rescued from a tag sale, resale store or maybe from your own stash. This idea is intended to be a creative effort towards saving our environment by using something old and giving it a new life. Each of us will paint a landmark from our area onto the old china. This re-purpose plate is painted with our famous active Mt St Helens and the pink flower decals reminded me of the wild Fireweed flowers that grows in the logged off areas in our northwest USA mountains.
